Checking your public IP location…
How to use this tool
Open the checker
The lookup starts automatically when this page opens. Your browser connects to ipwho.is, which receives the public IP used by your current connection. There is nothing to type and no browser location permission to grant.
Read your connection details
See your public IP, country, approximate city, time zone and network information where available. The flag represents the country associated with your IP, not your nationality or confirmed physical location.
Copy your IP or try again
Copy your public IP or open the approximate coordinates on a map. If the lookup fails or you change your connection, choose Try again. Missing fields are marked as unavailable.
An IP location is an estimate, not an exact address
IP geolocation links public network addresses to database records. Those records can describe a provider’s network, an internet gateway or a VPN exit server rather than the device in front of you. Country, region and city may differ in accuracy, and databases can be incomplete or out of date. Coordinates are approximate and do not identify a person or street address. This checker does not use GPS or ask for your browser’s location permission.
